Tomorrow’s Classroom Today:
Using Technology to Improve Teacher Quality

No fee to attend - complimentary lunch provided.

Raising Student Performance by Using Technology to Improve Teacher Quality

We know that when it comes to student achievement, teachers make all the difference. How do we use technology to make this fact work for our students? In one respect the classroom of the future is unlikely to be any different than today’s – the teacher will still make the biggest difference in student learning. This will be true both in a “digital classroom” that is conducted in the privacy of individual homes, and it will be true in school classrooms. In this regard, the classroom of tomorrow is already happening today. This seminar acknowledges this reality and helps us understand how technology can improve teacher “productivity” (i.e. student learning). Our typical approach to technology planning is to look at improving student learning via direct technology-student relationships. Our seminar explores these important questions: What happens if the focus of our technology planning includes the act of teaching in addition to the act of learning? Can we use technology to improve teaching? Will it raise student achievement? How do we do it?

Please join us to learn more about the role that teacher-focused technology can play in your school’s success. There is not a fee to attend this conference, and a complimentary lunch is provided. Please click here to view a video invitation from Syfr President, Richard Erdmann.
